CHANGES TO THE ROMAN MISSAL ON THE HORIZON. New translations of the Roman Missal are coming in late 2010 or 2011. The people's parts at Mass will change when the Holy See approves the new translation. The USCCB voted to approve the final sections of the English translation during the 2009 Fall General Assembly; it is now with the Vatican for approval, expected sometime this year. Implementation at the parish level will commence about a year following Vatican approval. Click here for a preview of the changes. |
