   FAITH FORMATION REPORT - MARCH 12, 2008

  • First-Eighth Grade. There will be no classes during Holy Week and the first week of Easter.  Classes resume in Jackson on April 2 and 3, and at Our Lady of the Pines on April 6.
  • First Eucharist Retreat. The parent-and-child retreat in final prparation for First Eucharist will be April 5 from 1 to 4 PM at St. Patrick Parish Hall.
  • Confirmation Retreat.  The Confirmation Retreat brought together 35 youth from St. Patrick and Immaculate Conception.  Father Tom presided at the Friday evening Liturgy, which set the tone for Saturday.  The format was created by Susan Kirkwood-Yates and facilitated by Susan and a team of adults and teens.  It provided a variety of experiences and opportunities both insmall groups and large for faith sharing and prayer.
  • Catechist Formation.
    • The next presentation will be Sunday, April 6, from 1 to 4 PM at St. Patrick Hall.  The topic will be Praying witih Scripture.
  • Adult Formation. The women’s study group continues to meet twice a month.
  • RCIA. Nothing new.
  • RCIA Adapted for Children. Nothing new.
