Welcome to St. Patrick Parish of Amador County, California.

St. Patrick Parish comprises three Catholic churches: St. Patrick in Jackson, and our two mission churches, St. Bernard in Volcano and Our Lady of the Pines in Pioneer. Please visit their individual pages by clicking on their links.

Father Tom
Our Pastor is Rev. Thomas Seabridge. Father Tom serves as Pastor of the Amador Catholic Community, comprising St. Patrick Parish (Jackson-Volcano-Pioneer), Immaculate Conception Parish (Sutter Creek-Plymouth), and Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (Ione).
Deacon Garry
Deacon Garry Evans joined us in 2007, transferring from The Church of the Transfiguration in Castro Valley. He was ordained into the Diocese of Oakland in 2000. You can read a little about Deacon Garry here.
Fr. Alfie
Rev. Alfredo Africa, MSP, is our Parochial Vicar.  He joined the parish in September 2007, on assignment from the Mission Society of the Philippines.  Father Alfie assists Father Tom in all three of the parishes of Amador County.  Read a little about him here.
Deacon Bill
William Thompson is our Deacon Emeritus. Deacon Bill served as a Permanent Deacon for over twenty years, the majority of them right here at St. Patrick Parish.
Fr. George
Rev. George Thomas is recently retired and now living in Amador County.  Father George generously gives of his "retired" time, assisting Father Tom on an as-needed basis.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Note! MASS CANCELLATIONS.  No Daily Masses from October 13 through October 17, in St. Patrick Parish.  Fathers Seabridge and Africa will be on retreat.
Note change!  Spanish Mass.  Until further notice, there is no longer a Spanish Mass on Sunday.  Announcements will be made when the Spanish Mass is reinstated.
Note change! Youth Group News.  This month's Youth Group meeting has been changed from 12 NOON to 9 AM on October 19!  Breakfast will be served, to be followed by the meeting and the program.  Mass follows at 11 AM. To read more about the Youth Group's activities, click here.
New! October is Respect Life Month.  Here is something all of us can do to promote Life issues.  From the youngest to the not-so-young, no matter where you are in life, your prayers matter, and they will further the Respect for Life.  Click here to download a list of petitions for each day of the month.  Say a prayer a day, and let's see just how we can change our community and our world!
New! Cenacles of Life.  All are invited to pray to end the culture of death.  Let us pray to stop all the killing of the unborn, sick and handicapped.  Our Lady of Fatima said that all evils and wars are ended through her rosary and sacrifices.  We have begun a Cenacles of Life rosary prayer group in our parish. All are invited!  Two rosaries will be prayed, and the group will offer up a fast each week.  The group meets on Friday before and after the 8 AM Mass at St. Patrick Church.  For more information, call the parish office at 223-0168.

New! Why do Catholics do that?  Ever wonder what's happening and why during Holy Mass?  Want to better understand and gain insight?  Think Mass is boring, rote, uninspiring?  Want to know differently?  You're invited to a Teaching Mass.  For more information, contact Fr. Tom Seabridge at 223-0168. Teaching Mass details:

Help! Project Thanks.  Time to get ready for this countywide Thanksgiving Food Basket program.  Our parish has a history of participating in this worthy project, which supplies Thanksgiving dinners to local needy families.  You can help by donating NON-PERISHABLE items, such as those listed below.  Cash donations are gratefully accepted.  Bring your donations and place them in the barrels at our three churches.
